St. Anton am Arlberg

A winter sports paradise off the piste.

You will also find your winter sports destination off-piste up the Arlberg: the extensive offer includes tobogganing (sledging), curling, Figln (What on earth do the Tyroleans get up to?), snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and Nordic walking. Snowshoeing is particularly popular at the moment: exploring Tyrol's mountains on foot has almost something meditative about it - concentrating on the powerful images of nature and the rhythm of your heartbeat, these hikes are a wonderful kind of spiritual relaxation.

The Hotel Post also has the best possible location for cross-country skiers, because here you have direct access to 40 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes and are doing something really good for your figure and your cardiovascular system thanks to this special sport.

Cross-country skiing

St. Anton am Arlberg is now also a meeting place for cross-country skiers. The province of Tyrol awarded the 40 kilometre long network with the cross-country skiing trail seal of quality.

Winter and snowshoe hiking

At medium altitudes there is a slight lack of oxygen which is by no means harmful or stressful for the body. Quite the opposite: the climate in the mountains is extremely good for you in many respects and "Alpine Wellness" is far more than just an advertising slogan.

Tobogganing

Fun in the snow is not limited to skiing or snowboarding in St. Anton am Arlberg. In the middle of the winter sports area, the local mountain Gampen also attracts visitors with its four kilometre long natural toboggan run.
